Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we collect on arolico.cl, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: October 10, 2026

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your data is AROLICO, based in Santiago, Chile. For any question about your data, write to contacto@arolico.cl.

This policy is governed by Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and by Law No. 21,719, which amends it and takes full effect on December 1, 2026.

2. What data we collect

  • Tools form. Full name, job title, company, work email, phone, industry, approximate annual indirect spend, the language you chose and the page you registered from.
  • Emails you send us. Your address and the content of the message.
  • Browsing data. Pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and traffic source, through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (see section 9).

The figures you enter in the calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers. We do not ask for sensitive data, and the site is not directed at minors.

3. How we use your data

  • To verify your email and unlock the tools.
  • To answer your request and contact you about the results and our service, for example to offer you a tail spend assessment.
  • To record the contact in our sales system (CRM) to follow up on that conversation.
  • To measure how the site is used and improve it.

We do not use your data for automated decisions that affect you, and we do not sell it.

4. Legal basis

  • Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time, without retroactive effect.
  • Pre-contractual steps you request, such as an assessment or a quote.
  • Our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site, for browsing data.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes. The following providers process it on our behalf, only to deliver their service to us:

8. Your rights

You may ask us at any time for:

To exercise them, write to contacto@arolico.cl with the subject “Personal data”, stating your name, the email you registered with and the right you wish to exercise. We will reply within 30 calendar days, which may be extended once by another 30 days if the request requires it. Exercising these rights is free of charge.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may turn to Chile’s Personal Data Protection Agency once it is operating, or to the competent courts.

9. Cookies and browser storage

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager use cookies (for example, _ga) to measure visits statistically.
  • Language preference: we store the language you chose in your browser.
  • Unlocked tools: we store in your browser that you already verified your email, so we do not ask you to register again.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site keeps working without them.

10. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to registrations is limited to the AROLICO staff who need it, using accounts protected with two-step verification.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example to align it with regulations issued by the Personal Data Protection Agency. We will publish the current version here with its update date.
